Motorcyclist dies after bike crashes into telegraph pole on Walsoken's Waterlees Road

Police are appealing for information following a fatal collision in Walsoken.

Yesterday at 2.50pm, police were called to a single vehicle collision on Waterlees Road, between First Marsh Road and Second Marsh Road.

An off-road motorbike ridden by two men had collided with a telegraph pole at the location.

One man aged in his 20s sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.

A second man aged in his 20s was flown to Addenbrooke’s hospital in Cambridge via Air Ambulance with serious injuries.

Officers would like to hear from any witnesses, or anyone who may have seen the manner of driving of the vehicle prior to the collision.
