Motorcyclist dies following crash on A134 near Mundford




A motorcyclist has died following a crash on one of the main routes to and from West Norfolk yesterday.

An investigation is underway into the circumstances of the incident, which happened on the A134 at Mundford at around 10.50am on Thursday.

Norfolk Police says a black Harley Davidson motorbike was in collision with a yellow Ford Transit van around half a mile from the junction with the A11.

A short time ago, a force spokesman confirmed the rider, a man in his 50s, had been pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed for nearly six hours following the incident.

Anyone who may have seen the crash, has dashcam footage or who saw how either of the vehicles involved were being driven prior to the incident, is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Wymondham on 101, quoting incident number 123 of September 23.
