Mystery Norfolk woman scoops nearly £2m in The National Lottery
A mystery woman has won £1,772,335 on The National Lottery after hitting the jackpot and matching all six main numbers in a Lotto draw.
Known only as ‘Mrs R’ from Norfolk, she scooped the big prize last Wednesday. Her first purchase after winning was a new car - and she plans to help her family with the cash too.
Two other ticket-holders shared the £5.3million jackpot with Mrs R, while two further players matched the five main numbers and Bonus Ball and won £1million each.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: “Wow! What incredible news for Mrs R who can now celebrate being £1.7million richer.
“We hope she is enjoying driving around in her new car. Huge congratulations.”
