Burnham Thorpe pub gets a big 'cheers'
A pub in Burnham Thorpe has won an award as a regional winner in the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) awards.
Holkham Estate's Lord Nelson Public House has been named as the RICS UK regional winners for the East of England in the Community Benefit category.
It will now move forward to the national finals taking place in London this October.
This category recognises outstanding achievement in providing a facility that directly benefits the local community and thus the project must illustrate its success through local community feedback with diversity and inclusion embedded throughout.
James Bracey, general manager for Land and property at Holkham said: "This was a challenging project for the team but this award recognises the efforts of all those involved.
"The pub provides a perfect setting to celebrate our success."
