New war memorial in Bexwell replaces original made in 1980's

A war memorial outside of Bexwell Church in Downham has received a new look after being fully replaced.

The RAF Victoria Cross memorial commemorates the sacrifices of the two Victoria Cross recipients from RAF Bexwell in the Second World War.

The new monument was crafted by Jonathan Horton with the assistance of the engineering flight team at RAF Marham, with the original having been in place since the 1980s.
