North Lynn man accused of sexual exploitation of a child
A North Lynn man accused of arranging the sexual exploitation of a child has appeared in court.
Trevor Webb, 37, is said to have set up a website, managed bookings and taken the 17-year-old girl to the bookings.
The prosecution told Lynn Magistrates’ Court on Thursday that Webb made cash deposits totalling almost £2,000, believed to have been proceeds from prostitution.
The offences are said to have taken place between February and April 2018.
Webb did not enter pleas to two charges of arranging the sexual exploitation of a child aged 13 to 17 years and a further charge of making two indecent images of Category C (the lowest seriousness).
The bench in Lynn declined jurisdiction and the case was sent to Norwich Crown Court for a hearing on August 19.
Webb, of Dobby Drive, was granted bail with the condition not to contact the alleged victim, who cannot be identified for legal reasons.
