Open day at Tilney All Saints' Eau Brink RSPCA animal rehoming centre celebrates 60 years
The Eau Brink RSPCA West Norfolk animal rehoming centre, Tilney All Saints, had an open day on Saturday celebrating its 60 year anniversary.
Staff and guests celebrated the first ever occasion with games, tombola, jumble sale and book and pet stalls.
Visitors could view animals that are available for adoption.
Susan Grief said on the centre’s Facebook page: “My daughter and I came down, so many lovely dogs and cats, hope they all find a loving family home.
“We already have two dogs or we would have been interested.
"There were so many we loved, it would be a hard choice."
Carl Saunder, branch manager, said: "The open day was a roaring success.
"I would like to personally say a massive thank you to everyone who turned out Saturday, for our first open day at Eau Brink
"To amazing staff, who were absolute diamonds, ensuring all the animals were ok in the heat and helping the visitors with information on the animals.
"And to our volunteers, what can I say they were all superstars and to you, our supporters, thank you.
"We can't do what we do without any of you and it meant so much to see so many people coming together to support us.
"We raised nearly £900 and had over 30 rehoming applications in just four hours.
"So from myself and all the animals, thank you."
