A packaging supplier which has its head office in Lynn has enjoyed a “hugely successful” time at a national logistics show.

This is part of Southgate’s ambitious commitment to introduce sustainable alternatives for all its key product lines. Officials said the response to its new product on display was “hugely positive”.

Darren Smith, head of marketing at Southgate, said: “We were delighted with the response at IMHX and it was great to be back at the show.

“It makes such a difference to be able to demonstrate our products to visitors so they can see first-hand the benefits they can bring to their operations.

“Our range of heavy-duty carts and trollies were well received, demonstrating how new equipment can reduce operator physical stress and increase productivity across a range of industries, from e-commerce and industrial to FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) markets.”

Southgate serves more than 600 leading distributors across the UK and Europe, with customers specialising in warehousing and logistics.

The firm has achieved a Silver EcoVadis rating, showcasing what it describes as its focus on driving sustainability within its business and the wider industry.
