Peter Pan coming to King's Lynn park

An open-air production of Peter Pan is coming to The Walks in Lynn this summer.

The production is the work of the Immersion Theatre Company, who previously brought the Wizard of Oz and Wind in the Willows to The Walks.

Immersion Theatre is inviting everyone to “soar away to Neverland as they proudly bring their trademark energy to their most magical musical to date”.

Children of all ages are encouraged to “think happy thoughts and fly high as the mischievous Peter embarks on an awfully big adventure”.

Joined by the Darling children, the lost boys, Tinkerbell, Smee and Captain Hook, organisers say youngsters have an opportunity to meet the characters after the show.

A spokesman said: “Filled with catchy music, heaps of audience interaction, a laugh-a-minute script, and the opportunity to meet the characters after the show.

“This hilarious and exciting musical of the boy who never grew up promises to have every member of the family so entertained throughout that they’ll be…Hooked!”

Tickets are priced at £10 for children and £12 for adults. They are available from www.kingslynncornexchange.co.uk.

Alternatively tickets will also be available in The Walks shortly before the performance, but booking early is advised.

Refreshments will be available to purchase, but those coming along to watch the production are welcome to bring a picnic.
