Police are appealing for witnesses following serious five-vehicle crash on A10 Bexwell Road in Downham Market
Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious crash in Downham that saw two drivers taken to hospital.
The incident happened last Thursday on the A10 Bexwell Road at 9.24am.
Five cars, a white Ford Transit, a black Volvo XC60, a black Lexus IS 300H, a white Toyota Prius and a grey Mercedes CLA 250 AMG, were travelling towards Downham when they crashed near the Bexwell roundabout.
The driver of the black Volvo was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn with serious injuries and is recovering at home while waiting for further medical treatment.
Emergency services, including paramedics, police and fire crews, attended the scene and a road closure was in place until 12.21pm between the Bexwell roundabout and the A1122.
Injuries sustained by those involved in the crash were not believed to be life-threatening or changing.
The driver of the Ford Transit, a man in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and was taken to Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning. He has been bailed to appear back at the centre on May 12.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who has any relevant dashcam footage.
