Norfolk Police seized off-road bike in Clenchwarton after being after being driven illegally in play park

An off-road bike was seized over the weekend after a man was spotted riding it in the play park and on the main road in Clenchwarton.

Police were called to the village football pitch on Friday afternoon after reports were made of men riding anti-socially, pulling wheelies and not wearing helmets.

Officers tracked down the bike – covered in mud and still hot – and seized it for being driven with no licence and no insurance.

A spokesperson for the police said: “Tackling vehicle anti-social behaviour is a current priority for your local teams across West Norfolk and we are grateful to the people who called this incident in.

“We cannot be everywhere all of the time so if you ever see something similar please do call us at the time on 101 or 999 with as much detail as possible.

“We understand the impact this has on the local community and are working hard to prevent this behaviour and deal robustly with those committing the offences.”
