An adoption centre is on the hunt for a new home for a cat who has been in its care for more than 100 days.

Downham Adoption Centre is looking for new owners to rehome 14-and-a-half-year-old Sapphire who has been in cat protection care for 166 days.

The centre said Sapphire is every bit as precious as her namesake.

This confident, friendly lady is ready to settle down and enjoy the life of luxury a princess like her deserves.

Maintaining her gorgeous coat is a must for this stylish girl, and she will happily respond to a brush with nuzzles and a very sweet purr.

She is looking for a warm lap and access to the great outdoors to explore to her heart’s content.

Sapphire would ideally like a quiet adult home where she can be your one and only.
