Promoting healthy lifestyles at Fairstead Primary and Nursery School

Pupils at Fairstead Primary and Nursery School enjoyed a series of sporting activities last week as part of a Promoting Healthy Lifestyles event.

The week began with a special assembly and a guest appearance from recent world powerlifting champion Danielle Ellington, before the youngsters took on a number of workshops.

The children also enjoyed sports day-style athletics and taster sessions, among other activities.
