Fakenham’s new QD branch opens doors and gives free goody bags to first 100 customers




A new discount store has opened its doors in a market town, giving its first customers a free goody bag.

QD celebrated the grand opening of its Fakenham branch yesterday, with residents queueing outside to be one of the first hundred customers in the hopes of grabbing a free gift.

Mayor Angela Glynn attended alongside the Fakenham Ukes to show support for the latest addition to Miller’s Walk.

“The new store looks fantastic, and we’re so excited for everyone to see it,” said Nisha Collins, QD’s marketing manager.

“Visitors will be able to shop an extensive range of products at unbeatable prices, and we look forward to seeing locals enjoy the new store and becoming a valued part of their daily lives.”

Creating 18 new jobs for the town, the store has moved into the former M&Co unit.

QD will be open seven days a week, 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
