Restaurant brings back lockdown home dining service in Burnham Market

An award-winning Burnham Market restaurant is now offering an at-home dining service from this weekend after new lockdown measures were introduced in England.

Husband and wife team, Natalie and Dan Stuhler, are providing a weekend collection service at Socius for their modern British take on tapas.

Natalie Stuhler, who owns the restaurant with her husband Dan, said: "If you're missing Socius as much as we're missing you, then you can now bring the Socius experience to your own dining table on Saturdays & Sundays. We'll be providing dine at home ready meal style kits with very simple instructions so that you can eat Socius favourites at your own dining table."

The pair started the Socius @ Home service in the last few weeks of the previous summer lockdown. When the new restrictions were announced, they decided to bring it back to help raise the spirits of their customers.

Natalie added: "It's rubbish that we've had to close down again but we're trying to keep the service going for customers. It is hard, but a lot of restaurants are in the same boat right now. We have also teamed up with Constance Rose in the village, you can add a gorgeous hand-tied bouquet to your order if you would like to make it extra special. It's all about supporting local small businesses as much as we can."
