Terrington High holds reward party for young carers
A party was set up for young carers at Terrington St Clement High School to celebrate the end of term.
The pupils had an ice cream van, snacks and more as well as a fly in visit from Norfolk Owls.
Annie Blyler, from West Norfolk Young Carers, said: "The students really enjoyed it, especially taking in turns holding the owls,"
"We drop once a fortnight to visit the young carers and keep things very informal so they know they can come to us," added Annie.
Courtney Anderson won the young carers award this year and recieved a voucher of her choice.
West Norfolk Young Carers works with Terrington High to make sure staff are aware of any issues a young carer may face.
Support lead at the school Mrs Fisher has been praised for organising the party and making sure all students had a good time.
