Roadworks begin on A149 near Dersingham

Roadworks are under way on the A149 near Dersingham on one of the main routes in to Lynn.
Temporary delays have slowed the area of road as speed signs are being erected.
The new speed limits will be implemented on parts of the West Norfolk road near to the junction where the late Duke of Edinburgh was involved in a crash in January 2019.
Norfolk County Council has reduced the limit from 60 to 50mph.
The new speed limit will affect the A149 between Babingley and Dersingham.
There will also be a reduction in the speed limit between Snettisham and Heacham.
As our pictures show, contractors are well under way in putting up the signs and making other changes to the road today.
