Sewer works in Ingoldisthorpe to disrupt bus service for nearly a whole month




A bus service will be disrupted for most of February due to sewer works at a West Norfolk village.

Operator Lynxbus has warned customers that its service 34 buses will be subject to disruption and a diversion route due to the closure of the B1440 Lynn Road at Ingoldisthorpe.

This applies from February 1 until February 26, and the bus operator has apologised in advance for any inconvenience caused by the works which are "out of their control".

Dersingham users who normally catch the bus at Thaxters will need to use the Pansey Drive bus stop on Station Road and customers from Snettisham who board at the Factory Shop can use the temporary stops at and opposite Stickland Avenue.

Customers from Ingoldisthorpe will be able to pre-book a shuttle bus 24 hours in advance, operated by Barrys Cars, to take them to Dersingham.

The Smithdon High School 411 bus service will commence at Ingoldisthorpe Pond at 7.40am.
