Hunstanton show halted due to health incident




A concert in Hunstanton on Sunday night was halted due to a member of the audience experiencing a serious health incident.

Navi who portrays the King of Pop Michael Jackson had been performing in the tribute show at the Princess Theatre when the proceedings had to be halted during the performance.

A member of the audience said: "I think somebody went in to cardiac arrest and the patient was airlifted.

"We were at the show and had to leave halfway through as someone in the audience collapsed.

"I don't know if they are OK now, it was very worrying. I hope they are OK.

"The show was stopped and everyone was told to leave the auditorium."

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to a medical emergency at the Princess Theatre in Hunstanton at 9.19pm on Sunday.

"A community first responder (CFR), two ambulances, a senior paramedic in a support vehicle, the Norfolk Accident Rescue Service (NARS) and the East Anglian Air Ambulance attended the scene.

"The patient was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment."
