Splat the teacher! At Reffley Academy Summer fair

Last Saturday Reffley Academy held their annual Summer fair on the school grounds, attracting hordes of locals to join in the fun.
Activities such as Splat the teacher(sounds therapeutic), tombola and gymnastics dominated the day- as students managed to raise an impressive £3400 for school supplies.
Reception classes even sold plants in order to fund a classroom Guinea pig.
Assistant headteacher Helen Fendley said of the day: "It was an amazing day and we were impressed with the turnout, at first we were concerned about the weather but luckily the sun came out!
"We are already planning to make next years event bigger and better."
