Staff test positive for coronavirus at King's Lynn Tesco Extra




A small number of workers at a Lynn supermarket have tested positive for coronavirus.

Close contacts have been informed after the staff tested positive at the Tesco Extra store on the Hardwick Retail Park.

A spokesman for Tesco said: "A small number of colleagues at our King’s Lynn Extra store have tested positive for Covid-19.

"The safety of our colleagues, customers and suppliers remains our number one priority and we are working with local public health authorities, following all Government guidance and taking the relevant precautions."

Tesco emphasised there are a number of safety measures across all of its stores to help keep everyone safe, including protective screens at every checkout, social distancing signage and regular cleaning.
