Swaffham care home celebrates after outstanding CQC rating

Westfields care home in Swaffham has been given an outstanding rating following a Care Quality Commission inspection.

Members of staff and residents celebrated the result on Monday afternoon with champagne served out, and decorations put up in the home.

Inspectors visited the home in December 2018 when they spoke to residents, relatives and members of staff.

It is only the third residential care home in Norfolk to receive an outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission, joining the top three per cent of care homes in the country.
