A 12ft specimen tree is planted by Swaffham Rotary president Malcolm Whittley, pictured third from the right, to mark the 50th anniversary of the group.
The tree was planted in the town’s Campingland Community Garden.
It will be the first of 50 trees being planted around Swaffham throughout the year as part of the anniversary.
Also pictured at the planting are mayor Colin Houghton, pictured second from left at the front, and Alison Findlay of the RHS, centre right.
The Swaffham project was one of only four projects in the east of England to get funding from the RHS Greening Grey Britain fund. MLNF-19PM02026
