Teenager still missing from Swaffham area

A teenager has been missing in Norfolk for a week as police enquiries continue into his disappearance.

Jamie Brennan, 16, was last seen in the Swaffham area on December 28 around 10pm and he was wearing a black tracksuit and a black North Face jacket at the time.

Known as Jay, friends have taken to social media platforms to alert the public, as well as reporting his disappearance to Norfolk Police.

Rob Rowling, who has helped to share the social media appeal, said there have been possible sightings in Mundford and Attleborough, although this has not been confirmed.

Mr Rowling posted: “This young man needs to be found safe and well, and he has a desperately worried family waiting for him.”

He then took to social media again this morning to thank those who have helped in an attempt to find the missing teenager.

“Still no further news on the whereabouts of Jay,” Mr Rowling said. “But I can’t thank you all enough for the incredible support in sharing you’ve all shown to help - thank you so much."

A spokeswoman for Norfolk Police said: "I can confirm that Jamie Brennan, aged 16, has been reported missing to police and enquiries to locate him are ongoing."
