Teenagers in inflatable saved by lifeboat off Old Hunstanton beach




Three teenagers whose inflatable was being blown out to sea from Old Hunstanton beach were rescued by a lifeboat on Tuesday afternoon.

The RNLI Hunstanton lifeboat received the call from the UK Coastguard at 4.57pm, the boat was launched and they were soon alongside the two girls and a boy.

The three were handed into the care of the local Coastguard response team, and no medical assistance was required.

They were given advice of the dangers of using inflatables on the sea, especially with an off shore breeze.
