Essential work, which is expected to take two months, is due to take place in Lynn in the new year.
The county council has said the work will start along Bergen Way on Wednesday, January 6.
It is set to be carried out in order to resurface the worn-out pavement and to replace damaged kerbs.
And a temporary traffic order will be in place to prevent parking along the road until the scheme is complete.
The work is expected to take two months to complete and will cost £125,000.
Norfolk County Council and their contractors are responsible for the work.
The authority has thanked the public in advance for their patience.
