Three deny drugs offences at King's Lynn court hearing




Two men and a woman who deny being involved in the supply of drugs in Lynn have had their case sent to crown court.

Mark Leslie Henson and Joanne Prosper, both 48 and of the same address in Lindens, Fairstead, are jointly accused of possessing cannabis with intent to supply, possessing the class A drug cocaine and acquiring criminal property (cash).

Leo Mark Henson, 23, of Bagge Road, Gaywood, is charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis and acquiring criminal property, namely £3,565 in cash.

All three defendants appeared before Lynn Magistrates’ Court yesterday and pleaded not guilty to all of the charges against them.

The alleged offences are said to have happened on March 22 last year.

The bench declined jurisdiction and sent the cases to Norwich Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on August 20.

All the defendants were granted unconditional bail.
