Three taken to hospital after accident in West Norfolk village




Emergency services have been called to an accident involving a lorry and a car in a West Norfolk village this morning.

Three people have been taken to hospital after the collision on the A134 at Northwold, which has caused the road to be closed in both directions whilst the lorry is recovered.

Fire crews from Methwold, Thetford and Downham attended the accident shortly after 9am, and police were called at 8.40am.

The vehicle and scene was made safe by the crews and the occupants were manually released.

Two ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle were called and three people were transported to West Suffolk Hospital for further assessment and care.
