Here is a list of some top-rated places in our area according to Tripadvisor to make looking forward to your weekend treat a little more exciting.
1- Jack's at Woodlakes, Stowbridge
Jack’s, with a 2024 Travellers’ Choice award, offers “seriously tasty food” in a rural setting, with views across the beautiful championship fishing lake at Woodlakes Park.
It has a large selection of hot and cold drinks, a people-pleasing food menu and a fun-filled children’s menu to entice the whole family.
Customers praise the venue for having a wide range of items. One person said: “The breakfast menu had plenty of choices, something for everyone.”
Another said: “Superb breakfast with freshest yummiest flat mushrooms I have ever tasted”.
2- The Warehouse Taproom, Bar and Restaurant, Setchey
This venue was hit by a fire last year which completely destroyed its kitchen.
When open, however, the converted warehouse offers a warm and inviting environment with a friendly atmosphere and excellent service.
With the very best of traditional and modern British cuisine, the fresh menu is regularly updated and they use the finest seasonal ingredients from local suppliers where possible.
A post on the business’ website states staff “are working hard to recover and can’t wait to welcome customers back as soon as possible”.
3- Norfolk Nibbles, Dersingham
Located at Pinecones Camp Site off the Dersingham bypass, it offers “good wholesome, best quality locally sourced produce made fresh to order”.
It seems to be a hidden gem for those who stop by for a quick breakfast on the go. One person thought the price was great for the food received, and said: “Absolutely fantastic food at very reasonable prices.”
Another said: “The food is fantastic, service is second to none and the quality of the ingredients is great.”
4- Bank House, Lynn
Bank House has a regularly changing menu offering modern brasserie food, using top-quality fresh ingredients and taking full advantage of the wonderful produce of the area.
Customers say they would return. One review on Tripadvisor said: “Amazing breakfast, recommend avocado and eggs Royale. Would go back.” Another praised the customer service: “Friendly helpful staff, and very attentive.”

It is praised for its atmosphere and its great food, according to Tripadvisor -with Brewers Fayre placed seventh of the best places for breakfast in the area.
One review said: “Excellent atmosphere, excellent food and really friendly staff.” Another stated: “All the staff are very attentive and on point with their service, the food was lovely and hot and cooked (to) perfection.”
8- The Daily Grind, Lynn
It is situated in the heart of Lynn's historic London Road and is a cosy independent coffee shop serving freshly cooked foods with fresh local ingredients.
Those who have visited The Daily Grind say it is definitely worth a trip to for some good food.
One customer on their review said: “Lovely little gem, stopped here for breakfast whilst on a few days away. Lovely owner, lovely food”. Another person said: “Visited today for cooked breakfast, excellent service and food, polite and friendly staff, would definitely visit again if in the area.”
