Toy shop The Entertainer opens new store in Vancouver Quarter King's Lynn




The Mayor was in attendance on Saturday as toy store The Entertainer, opened a new store in Lynn.

The new store is in the Vancouver Quarter and shoppers can continue to shop at the current store in Norfolk Street for the festive period.

The first 20 families to walk through the doors were gifted vouchers valued between £5 and £100 and were greeted by a balloon artist.

Mayor Harry Humphrey was in attendance to cut the ribbon and officially declare the store open alongside three lucky competition winners Emma Claridge, Sophia age six and Danielle Claridge, age 10.

Lynn Store Manager, Miranda Blake, said: “Myself and the team are really looking forward to welcoming our customers to our brand-new store at The Vancouver Centre.

"We’re looking forward to seeing lots of familiar faces and no doubt some new customers too.

"To make Christmas shopping easier, we’ll be keeping our existing store open at 142 Norfolk Street throughout December."
