Lulu's Toy Chest in Downham Market moves to new location on High Street as owner Lynsey Maynard eyes exciting expansion
A town toy store has set up shop at a new location as it looks forward to an exciting future.
Lulu’s Toy Chest first opened its doors in May of last year at Cannon Square, Downham.
However, due to increased demand and a need for more space, owner Lynsey Maynard is now welcoming customers to her new premises at 14 High Street.
She officially got her new chapter under way last Monday, and is pleased with how things are going so far.
“We just needed more space because we just couldn’t fit in the other shop anymore,” she said.
“We just feel we can do more there. We want to just expand a bit more.
“In the future we’d like to bring children’s clothes and other things as well, so like a one-stop-shop.
“It was a really good move to make.”
Lulu’s Toy Chest currently sells the likes of board games, baby toys, teddy bears and children’s birthday cards.
“We try and do toys that are affordable to everybody, especially with what’s going on at the moment,” Lynsey added.
She has confirmed to customers that her slush puppy machine has also made the move to High Street due to popular demand.
