Students at Marshland High School in West Walton celebrated in style at 2024 prom
Students dressed to impress when they turned up to prom seated in an array of vehicles, from lorries to tractors.
The graduating class of 2024 from Marshland High School in West Walton were greeted by family, friends and well-wishers as they arrived at Knight’s Hill.
Students arrived at the party in various vehicles, from sports cars and classic motors to lorries,a motorbike, a camper van and even a tractor.
The students were dressed to impress for the occasion, with a colourful array of ball gowns, suits and cocktail dresses on show.
Entertainment on offer included a disco and sweets cart, along with a photo booth where party-goers could preserve their memories of the evening.
There was also a hog roast and dessert, along with welcome drinks and other refreshments.
Chris Teanby, Assistant Head at Marshland, which is part of the West Norfolk Academies Trust, said: “This is a major landmark in the students’ lives in celebrating the end of GCSEs.
“It is a just reward for all of the hard work and effort that the students have applied to their examinations.
“The Prom provided a fantastic opportunity for all involved with the year group to celebrate their time at Marshland High School. The number of parents, carers, friends and staff from the school showed how special this year group is.
