A149 crash at Heacham sees two motorcyclists taken to hospital with serious injuries




Two motorcyclists have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a three-vehicle crash on the A149 at Heacham yesterday (Sunday).

Emergency services were called to the collision, involving two motorcyclists and a car, at about 4.43pm.

The road was closed between Heacham roundabout and the traffic lights near Norfolk Lavender.

Along with police, ambulance crews and an air ambulance were also called to the scene.

The two motorcyclists sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries.

One was taken to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and the second was flown to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

The road reopened by 9pm.
