Two people seriously injured in crash on A1101 in West Norfolk




Witnesses are being sought this morning after three people were injured, two of them seriously, in a road collision in West Norfolk last night.

Police say they were called to the A1101 Elm High Road at Emneth shortly after 7pm on Thursday, following reports of a collision involving a silver Mercedes C280 and a black Vauxhall Insignia.

The driver of the Mercedes suffered serious injuries, while the passenger sustained minor injuries. The driver of the Vauxhall also sustained serious leg injuries.

The Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Wisbech and West Walton also attended the incident and cut one person free from the wreckage.

Anyone who saw the incident, or how either of the vehicles involved was being driven prior to it, is asked to contact Norfolk Police on 101, quoting incident reference NC-23122021-329.
