Two suffer 'life-threatening injuries' in crash on A47




Police in Swaffham are appealing for witnesses after two people were seriously injured in a crash on the A47 yesterday evening.

The incident, involving a blue Ford Focus RS and a black Nissan Juke, happened at around 5.10pm on Monday at Hockering.

The drivers of the vehicles, a man in his 50s and a woman in her 30s respectively, were both taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital with what police have described as "life-threatening injuries".

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage to come forward.

Anyone with information should contact PC Phil Writer of Swaffham Roads and Armed Policing Team on 101, quoting incident number 351 of February 21.
