Two-vehicle collision at Fakenham in which driver suffers serious injuries sees road closed for hours




A driver suffered serious injuries following a two-vehicle collision at Fakenham yesterday evening (Wednesday, May 22).

Emergency services, including the air ambulance, fire services and an ambulance were called to the B1105 shortly before 6pm.

Following the collision between an Audi and a Toyota, one vehicle crashed into a ditch.

The driver of the Audi suffered serious injuries and was transported to the the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

A passenger and the driver of the Toyota suffered slight injuries and were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn for treatment.

The road was reopened at 10.15pm last night.
