Terrington St Clement Post Office reopens offering improved services and longer opening hours after temporary closure in 2022

A village Post Office has started welcoming customers once again offering improved services.

Terrington St Clement Post Office re-opened under new management on Monday after being temporarily shut in December 2022, due to the resignation of its postmaster.

The village Post Office is still located on Marshland Street and is now open from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday, and 8am to 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

With these new opening hours, it provides 82 hours of Post Office service per week - this extra 12 hours of service allows more convenience for customers, a spokesperson said.

Its services include bill payment, cash withdrawals and pre-ordering foreign currency, postage, home shopping collections and returns.

Post Office area change manager Anthony Bayley said: “We know how important a Post Office is to a community and we are delighted to have re-opened Terrington St Clement Post Office.

“Customers will also enjoy longer opening hours than before, making it easy to visit.”
