Road at Harpley to close for four weeks
A village road is due to be closed for four weeks from Monday, November 25 while work is carried out to improve drainage issues.
A new ditch is to be created in the verge of Bircham Road at Harpley along with pipe work to connect two ditches. Work is also to be carried out to the existing ditch at the junction to improve capacity and remove debris.
The road will be closed during the works but access to properties will be maintained. Anyone who has any specific access requirements is asked to contact Norfolk County Council or speak to the team on site.
Traffic will be diverted via Bircham Road, Shipgate Road, A148, and Houghton Road.
The work, costing around £35,000, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s infrastructure department and its contractors.
