Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Gaywood last week.

The incident happened on Tuesday, June 26, between 6.15pm and 6.30pm, when the victim, an 18-year-old man, was attacked by a group of youths whilst he was sitting on a bench in St Faiths Drive.

The suspects repeatedly kicked the victim before demanding and stealing around £60 in cash. They then fled the scene on push bikes.

The victim required hospital treatment for facial injuries.

Three boys, two aged 15 and one aged 13, were arrested in connection with the incident.

They have been bailed until July 23 pending further enquiries.

Officers are keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone who has information regarding the incident.

They’re asked to contact detective constable Emma Cross at King’s Lynn CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
