Woman taken to hospital with serious injuries after Kia Picanto crashes into Greyhound pub in Swaffham




A woman in her 70s was taken to hospital after a car crashed into a pub in Swaffham Market Place over the weekend, prompting police to appeal for witnesses.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Saturday at about 7pm after a red Kia Picanto had crashed into the Greyhound pub.

The only person involved was the driver of the car, a woman in her 70s.

She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the incident or has any information concerning it.

Anyone with information should contact PC Tim Aldham in the Roads and Armed Policing Team at Swaffham on 101 quoting incident number 353 of September 17.
