Woman taken to King's Lynn hospital after emergency response vehicle involved in collision




A road traffic collision involved an ambulance rapid response vehicle and another car in Gaywood on Sunday evening.

The ambulance service and one fire crew from King's Lynn were called to the accident on Gayton Road at 7.10pm on Sunday.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "An ambulance and two ambulance officer vehicles were called to a road traffic collision involving one of our rapid response vehicles and another car shortly after 7pm on Sunday.

"A woman in the second vehicle was transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further assessment and care and the driver of our vehicle received minor injuries."
