Our weekly Memory Lane Schooldays feature focuses on a visiting theatre group’s production in February 1998…
Facing the camera for the Lynn News’ classroom call feature in February 1998 were children from the infants’ class at Walpole Cross Keys Primary School.
It was during a busy period for the pupils, who had travelled to Terrington St Clement Primary School to see a production of ‘George Talks’ by a visiting theatre group, a play about a talking baby.
Head teacher Valerie Holmes said: “They found it very amusing and entertaining, while also learning a great deal.”
With that behind them, the children started work on their own musical about spring and Easter, to perform to parents at the end of term.
