Bowlers do battle at annual Hunstanton event

Bowlers from all over the country converged on Hunstanton last week for the annual district open bowls tournament at the Cliff Parade Bowls Green.

During a busy week of action, singles, pairs and triples competitions were contested with people travelling from all over Norfolk, as well as Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire.

Alive Leisure, in conjunction with Sue Clare and her team from Cliff Parade Bowls Club, ran the event which culminated with the presentation evening on Friday to celebrate the winners and runners-up.

Thanks go to everyone involved with the event, including Sue and Tony Clare and their team from Cliff Parade Bowls Club and to Jeff Tucker (event umpire) for his time and hard work.
