Dersingham defeat Marshland Saints in Division One of the North West Norfolk League to stay third

Third-placed Dersingham A maintained their North West Norfolk League promotion push with a victory over Marshland Saints Reserves in Division One.

Dersingham went two goals ahead in the first half, Chris Smith and Nathan Mitchel were the goalscorers.

However, in the second half, Marshland never gave up, and they were rewarded for their efforts with an unfortunate Dersingham own goal before Steven Cooke scored a very good goal to draw the sides level.

Zack Slingshot's efforts paid off when he converted a penalty to give Dersingham the points.

Marshland gave their Man of the Match to their stalwart defender, Asa Karlton, while Dersingham named Scott Deadman as their key player.
