Fakenham chairman thanks sponsors
Fakenham Town chairman Simon Barnes is looking forward to a successful season – thanks to the continued support of the club’s sponsors.
Barnes admitted the club would not be able to operate without the support of local businesses. He is delighted the Ghosts find themselves in a strong place after a productive summer on and off the pitch at the club.
Barnes said: “It has been a great summer. We are stable off the pitch and looking good on it. Credit has to go to our hard-working volunteers and sponsors. We have had lots of them come on board and you won’t believe how important it is to a club like us.
“Our main sponsors and under-18s sponsor is Vanshop. Kevin has always been a tremendous supporter of the club and it’s great to have them on board as well as Glenfair Electrical Services who are our new first team sponsor.
“It’s not just about the first team which is why I am grateful to DCM Services for helping the reserves, Keith Osbourn Photography for backing the ladies and the Recruit Venture Group for doing the away kit.
“Thanks to those guys, we are in a great positon. The first team have started the season well and I think that can continue against Diss at home.
“The Reserves have started life in senior football and we are able to provide a great facility to all 23 sides that make up Fakenham Town FC.”
Tomorrow, Fakenham Town host Diss at Clipbush Park.
