Fakenham and Downham Town FC net narrow victories over Walsham Le Willows and Debenham; Swaffham concede seven
Ashley Jarvis was on target to earn Fakenham Town a narrow 1-0 victory at home to seventh-spot Walsham Le Willows on Saturday in front of a crowd of 125.
This win puts the Ghosts in ninth position in Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division.
Basement side Swaffham Town lost 7-0 at 10th-spot Kirkley & Pakefield, whose hot-shot Miguel Lopez hit a hat-trick.
Amon Kutsirayi kept Downham Town firmly in the First Division North play-off picture by scoring the only the goal of the game at fourth from bottom Debenham LC.
Kutsirayi struck in the first half from a Jacob White assist as the Memorial Field outfit had several players missing.
Simon Bird (pictured) made his 200th appearance for the club.
Downham are a point behind second-spot Sheringham who have three games in hand.
