The Walks outfit have beaten of a number of other interested clubs to secure Limb’s signature.

Linnets boss Simon Clark said: “Harry is somebody I’ve known about for some time and he’s enjoyed a meteoric rise in the game.

“He can work in behind defenders and also work off the shoulders of another striker. I’ve watched all of his goals and everyone I’ve spoken to about him has nothing but praise for him.

“It’s really tough going into a Premier League club at such a young age but Harry worked super hard there.

“He has also scored goals for Matlock and dealt with the physical aspect of the Northern Premier League really well.

“He loves to score goals and is committed to being at the football club. I can’t wait to start working closely with him and help maximise what he’s already got.”

Limb started his career at Boston United, where he was a product of the Pilgrims’ Centre of Excellence programme, before being snapped up by Wisbech Town in the United Counties League.

The youngster, who also had trials with both Swansea City and Peterborough United before his move to Turf Moor, bagged 22 goals for the Fenmen in his first season of senior football before penning an 18-month deal with the Clarets.

Limb made an immediate impact in his new surroundings, scoring twice as Burnley under-23s defeated Derby County 5-0 on his debut.

He also featured for Northern Ireland Under-19s for three matches in the qualifying round of the European Under-19 Championships.

The teenager travelled with the squad for matches against Poland, Germany and Belarus last year, playing a full 90 minutes during a 2-1 defeat against the Poles and 56 minutes against Belarus.

He spent the latter half of last season on-loan at Matlock Town in the Northern Premier League, finding the back of the next six times for the Gladiators.

Limb is due to meet some of his new team-mates at training this week with the likes of Ryan Jarvis, Craig Parker and Ryan Hawkins, among others, doing some extra work ahead of Lynn’s pre-season fixtures.
