New King's Lynn Town manager to be confirmed this week
Chairman Stephen Cleeve has indicated that the new first team manager of King’s Lynn Town should be announced this week.
Cleeve told the club's website “It’s been a hectic few days as the closing date for applications was only last Saturday evening.
“I have been speaking with some very interesting candidates and we are now at the stage where a decision has been made as to who will be the next manager.
“There are a few loose ends to tie up but I envisage no foreseeable problems and I think the fans will be very happy on our choice. "It’s a decision that has needed much consideration and thought as it has to be the right one for all of the club and on that front we have, in my opinion, the right man.
"Once in place he will be speaking with last year’s squad."
Cleeve also revealed even though it was less than two weeks ago when the last ball was kicked in anger, work is already underway in many areas of the club behind the scenes.
“Everyone is already busy in preparing thing’s for next season’ added Cleeve.
Work begins on the pitch next week with the new drainage being laid by the contractors and following on from that work to the playing surface can begin.
“I am making very good progress in securing a shirt sponsor for next season and again an announcement on that front will be made in due course."
