King’s Lynn bowlers travel to Windsor to take on Royal Household as part of its 5oth anniversary celebrations




It has been a year to remember for members of King's Lynn Bowls Club.

The club marked their 50th-year celebrations in style during the 2024 bowls season.

From Mayoral visits to sponsored walks, visits from the ‘King's Lynn Town Band, The Choir and the Fun Loving Ukeleles all contributed to a special year.

The playing season culminated in a visit to Windsor to play the Royal Household a privilege not given to many clubs which will last long in the memory of the 24 players lucky enough to go.

October saw the end of season lunch. where 25 members were presented with awards achieved during the playing season.

During the year, the club's president Linda Oakey raised an amazing £3300 for her chosen charity of MNDA.
