Jorge delivers another dominant display




Jorge Vieira delivered another dominate performance in the men’s time trials on the 11-mile circuit from Grimston.

The Lynn Cycling Club member posted a time of 26.26 - almost a minute-and-a-half ahead of his nearest rival - in his latest outing.

His training is now paying off, not just on the club scene but also at various open events across East Anglia.

Full results from the Grimston 11-mile TT circuit were: Jorge Vieira 26.26, Simon Riches 27.55, Myles Higby 28.25, Jamie Standen 29.44, Kay Burgess 30.34, Simon Hardy 30.39, Trevor Marshal 30.58, Ian Kidman 30.59, Paul Bailey 31.02, Nicky Brown 31.56, Gary Bowles 33.32, Bethany Barnett 34.03 (junior), Jo Carr 34.35, Sarah Hardy 37.10, Pauline Sparrow 41.56.

Nicky Brown is showing her skill and fitness in the Tottenhill 10-mile TT and is ahead on the overall leaderboard.

This coming weekend, sees Lynn riders taking part in the overnight ride.

The Dunwich Dynamo, which is a 120 mile ride from the centre of London to Dunwich.

Hundreds of riders will take part and hoping to arrive on the beach at Dunwich to greet the sunrise, before club riders ride back to Lynn, giving a total distance of 190 miles.
